Green Fake Action: Mountains of Trash Remain in Merseburg!Trash Cleanup or PR Stunt? Merseburg’s Trash Piles Stayed Untouched While the Press Presented a Success Story. 
Under the pretense of "Thinking Green – Together for a Clean Merseburg South," a trash cleanup took place on July 17, 2024, organized by City Councilor Mr. Striegel (SPD/Green Alliance) and the newly founded cultural association “INSAN.” 25 strong men and Mr. Striegel collected, as seen in the photo in the MZ report by Mr. Robert Briest, these meager trash bags full of garbage within 2 hours. The actual mountains of trash were simply left untouched. Mr. Striegel is well aware of the trash piles, as I, the chairman of the “Order and Hazard Prevention” committee, photographed all the trash mountains and sent them to him via email. 
Here, once again, there was an attempt to present oneself positively in the press via the MZ, portraying concern for the environment, nature, sustainability, and under the pretext of “international understanding.” But when the long-time resident of Merseburg South looks out the window, they feel mocked by the city councilor from the SPD/Green Alliance, Mr. Striegel. Anger and dismay rise when thinking back to the times before 2015 and how beautiful Merseburg South once was. 
That’s why the AfD city council faction and dieBasis have launched a campaign for Merseburg: “Creating the New Merseburg!” Also visible on Facebook with reports from Merseburg citizens. Starting August 9, 2024, there will be a Merseburg consultation day every Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM hosted by the AfD city council faction and dieBasis. All citizens are warmly invited. The address is 06217 Merseburg, Bergmannsring 30 (former kindergarten). The old parties have had decades to act, but things only got worse. With the AfD and dieBasis, much will change. We take you seriously and are here for you, citizens!
