Monday Demonstration in Zeitz on 15.1.24 – Farmers’ Protest on SiteOn Monday, January 15, 2024, the 2nd farmers’ protest demonstration began in Zeitz. 51 tractors, trucks, and other vehicles from tradespeople and small business owners took part in this protest, which started at the Old Market Square in front of the town hall. After reviewing the footage, we can now estimate that around 450 people participated in the protest. Counting those inside the vehicles, the number exceeds 500. Many thanks to all participants, drivers, their family members, and colleagues who were in the tractors, trucks, or other vehicles, as well as everyone who joined the protest as individuals affected by the government’s threats to their livelihoods or out of solidarity with those affected.
