Irresponsible District Administrator Götz Ulrich (CDU) Refuses to Apologize for Deaths and Damages Caused by Corona Measures and VaccinationOh dear, I was naughty again. Yes, I once again asked a question during the citizens' question session in the district council on 26.01.2026 – this time on the topic of Corona and the responsibility of the district administrator regarding his regulations. And yes, Chairman Andy Haugk of the district council did not like that at all. It was once again an excellent example of how “our democracy” works in the Burgenland district – very selectively. And Chairman Andy Haugk still does not see himself as a supervisory body that closely examines what the district administrator does, but rather as his shield. In such a case, the defiant questioner’s microphone must also be turned off, right? I pointed out that in the inquiry committees of the German Bundestag in December 2025, there were some remarkable statements from two main actors of this so-called “Corona pandemic.” On one hand, Professor Christian Drosten explained that the measures had caused costs – including in terms of human lives. On the other hand, former Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn stated that the goal of vaccine development had never been to prevent transmission or infection. The aim was only to prevent severe illness. Yet he too did not tire of urging people to have these experimental substances injected. The pressure applied was considerable. And the district administrator of Burgenlandkreis, Götz Ulrich, was right at the forefront – with mask mania, vaccine mania, vaccination centers, vaccination teams, vaccination buses, and bonuses for clubs if their members obediently got the shots. Considering the statements of Jens Spahn and Christian Drosten, the conclusion remains that the measures were unconstitutional. I recalled the ruling of the Federal Constitutional Court regarding whether a passenger plane may be shot down if there is a risk that it might be directed, for example, into a football stadium, which could cost lives beyond the passengers. The Court concluded that such a shooting down would be unconstitutional. The state may not implement measures that would cost people their lives. The state may not sacrifice some to possibly save others. Since District Administrator Götz Ulrich had codified all Corona measures in regulations for the Burgenland district, he is therefore responsible if people were harmed or died as a result. I asked the district administrator: When will you apologize to the people in the district? When will fines be refunded? When will you take responsibility? The telling, because meaningless, answer once again proves that responsibility is not a core competence of the district administrator. He explained that he constantly bears responsibility when making decisions. And if those decisions have consequences, he “takes note” of them. Wow, right? You were speeding. A fine notice arrives. You take note. Pay? Nope! Taking note must suffice. Regarding unconstitutionality, it seems the district administrator believes that a district administrator cannot act unconstitutionally. At least, he knows of no judgments regarding the Corona measures. Self-reflection is therefore rejected. If he or others were not sued accordingly or lost in court, everything was fine. He sees no reason to apologize. The topic of refunding fines was not mentioned at all. I wanted to follow up and was once again blocked by the district administrator’s “best buddy,” Chairman Andy Haugk. Like a knight, he reminded me that he is chairing the meeting and must adhere to the rules of procedure. Every citizen may ask one question and has two follow-ups. That must suffice in this “our democracy.” Is there ever anyone who informs the district council chairman about his task: He is not there to shield the district administrator, but to supervise him. It should be noted that the first questioner in the district council session was allowed to ask two questions. Strange, right? District council member Andreas Karl (Heimat) later in the session picked up my question again. He reported cases where a firefighter became severely disabled after vaccination and people died. His question was whether District Administrator Götz Ulrich (CDU) was interested in a review. Götz Ulrich stated that he believes these Corona vaccinations may have also caused complications up to death. However, he is not a doctor to actually assess this. The questions that arise from this would be: Was he medically informed enough to assess that the vaccine mania could claim lives? Did he check this, or did he blindly rely on the false statements above? Did he accept that, besides health damages, there would also be deaths? And here is the problem of unconstitutionality again and the question of responsibility. Andreas Karl (Heimat) also asked if District Administrator Götz Ulrich (CDU) was interested in a review. The administrator replied that he was, and there had even been an expert commission of the state government, in which he represented the districts for many months. There are also extensive final documents which he wanted to make available to the council members. The video with my question and the district administrator’s answers has already received numerous reactions. Enthusiasm for the district administrator has not been among them – quite the opposite. Among the criticisms was that my microphone was turned off. For some, the reaction of the district administrator provoked “nausea.” Transcript of the video above: Michael Thurm: I don’t know if you noticed. In December, two committees of the inquiry commission on Corona were held. Professor Drosten was invited and admitted that the Corona measures had caused costs, including human lives. And secondly, former Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn announced that the research or development of the so-called vaccines never aimed to prevent transmission, only to prevent severe cases. And therefore, in this sense, all Corona measures were clearly unconstitutional, because the state may not compel people to undergo a therapy – which happened – that they did not consent to. And since people also died, the state may not do that. But you issued these Corona regulations for the district. So my question is: When will you apologize to the citizens, when will the fines paid by many be refunded, and when will you take responsibility for your regulations in the district? District Administrator Götz Ulrich (CDU): I continuously take responsibility by making decisions, and I must stand by the decisions made. And if they have consequences, I must, of course, take note of these consequences. However, the conclusion you drew from a committee meeting, declaring it all unconstitutional from your perspective – I do not know of such jurisprudence or decisions regarding district regulations, which in some limited cases were challenged in court – I am not aware of. Our measures have not been declared unlawful, and therefore there is no opportunity or reason to apologize for this regulation. Michael Thurm: I recall the Federal Constitutional Court ruling regarding whether a passenger plane may be shot down if there is a risk it could crash into, for example, a football stadium. The court clearly said: It may not be shot down. And this vaccine mania – I almost said – was carried out anyway, and people also died in the Burgenland district. I recorded an interview where a woman reported that her husband suffered terribly from these vaccines, and you … District Council Chairman Andy Haugk turned off my microphone and intervened. District Council Chairman Andy Haugk: You may ask one follow-up to your first question. But you are drawing conclusions about shooting down planes. Such shootings are not within the district’s jurisdiction. You may now ask your follow-up. Michael Thurm: I was just trying to explain about unconstitutionality. The state may not take measures that cost citizens their lives. That is the point. And these vaccines also cost lives in the district. So the question is: take responsibility and apologize at all. District Council Chairman Andy Haugk: I did not hear a question. Michael Thurm: So the question again: When will you apologize? When will fines be refunded, and when will you take responsibility? District Council Chairman Andy Haugk: Mr. Thurm, you surely heard the first answer from the district administrator. He answered your question – the first question you are repeating – but you have it on your recording. You can listen to it calmly at home, and then you will know what the district administrator said. Asking the same question again is not allowed. You may now ask the last follow-up to your first question. Michael Thurm: Could you possibly let the district administrator answer? District Council Chairman Andy Haugk: I am the chair, Mr. Thurm. I ensure that the rules we all agreed on are followed. I read them at the beginning. I do this in every session. You can hear it on your recording. The answer – the district administrator answered your question – you can also hear. And now I ask you for the last time: do you have a follow-up to your first question? Michael Thurm: So you will not take responsibility, Mr. District Administrator? District Council Chairman Andy Haugk: That was also not a question. Michael Thurm: Yes, it was! District Council Chairman Andy Haugk: Uh… you are finished for today. Thank you! District Council Member Andreas Karl (Heimat): Good evening everyone. I want to briefly address what Mr. Thurm said in the citizens' question session and the question he asked Mr. Ulrich in light of the facts, that it is now proven that these Corona measures and vaccine policies were actually not appropriate and caused massive side effects. He explained it well. I am aware of the situation. I also know of a case in Naumburg of a firefighter who collapsed after the first Johnson & Johnson vaccination and is now severely disabled. There is also a case of someone who went to the vaccination center and was taken to the hospital immediately after the shot and died the same day. There are many such cases. I know about four or five. Everything is documentable. So it is as Mr. Thurm said. I share the same view. Mr. Ulrich, I can imagine your position at that time. You propagated what came from above. You sent out the vaccination buses. You offered clubs money if members went to the vaccination bus. I can now perhaps understand a little, but only a little. Therefore my question regarding this entire insane topic: Lauterbach backs down, Spahn backs down. Courts in Germany have now more or less decided that this was not justified – all the vaccination pressure, mask pressure, and measures during Corona. Therefore, my question to you: Are you interested in an investigation to perhaps uncover the truth and maybe admit someday: Yes, I went along with it, and it was not right? Or are you not interested at all in dealing with it or listening to cases of seriously ill people who were healthy before? District Administrator Götz Ulrich (CDU): First, I believe that, as with any vaccination, there were certainly complications with these vaccinations, possibly leading to death, possibly causing significant or even permanent impairments. I believe this occurs to some degree with any vaccination. Whether the vaccination reached the extent you describe regarding its effects, I cannot finally assess as a non-medical expert. These are beliefs, assumptions, claims. I participate in any investigation and have already done so. I represented the municipal family and especially the districts in the expert commission set up by the state government for several months. We dealt extensively with these questions. I invested a lot of my free time. Extensive final documents of our investigative work exist, which I can make available to you all. It is also visible where I made critical remarks and where not. But I cannot answer medical questions conclusively as a non-medical person. Otherwise, I have said what I can on this matter. Author: AI-Translation - Michael Thurm | |
