Aren’t You Sick of Your Own Whining Yet?

Honestly, I can't take it anymore. This constant, whiny moaning from every corner – and no one dares to speak up, let alone get off their ass.

Today, some elderly lady came up to me. All agitated, trembling hands holding a letter from her energy provider. “They’re raising the electricity prices starting August 1st!” she exclaimed in horror. 2.6 cents more per kilowatt hour. Five euros more in base charges. Outrageous! Scandal! Who’s supposed to pay for that?

I told her: “Go protest!”

She looked at me like a sheep seeing lightning and thunder for the first time. What else, for crying out loud? Getting upset isn’t enough. Whining changes nothing. If you can’t even spare one lousy hour a week to get your precious butt onto the street and raise your voice, then you can shove your whining where the sun doesn’t shine. Because otherwise, this crap just keeps going.

Demand affordable gas and oil from Russia! Damn right, I said that. And enough with this climate religion nonsense and CO2 pricing, as if a bit of tax could regulate the global climate. Starting next year, CO2 levies are going up big time – which means: everything you buy gets more expensive. EVERY product. Because everything uses energy. And on top of that, 19% VAT on the inflated price. What a joke.

But hey, it’s not like the politicians are doing this out of necessity. Nope, it’s all intentional. They want the money. For tanks. For ideology projects. For anything and everything – just not for you. They’re handing out goodies to the world like they’re on an all-inclusive money-rain vacation. But they’re not paying for it. You are. Every single one of you.

And then comes this disgusting little comfort phrase: “What can we even do?” – Makes me wanna puke. You know what? If you don’t say anything, if you don’t push back, the people up there take that as agreement.

Silence means consent – ever heard of that?

Let me spell it out for you:
If you don’t finally realize that YOU are the people – the sovereign, as it’s so nicely called – and that the politicians are supposed to do what YOU want, then just stay in your pathetic little victim role. Keep your head down, pay the next price hike without protest, and bitch to your neighbor. But for the love of God, spare us the whining. It’s annoying. It’s degrading. And it changes absolutely nothing.

Go out into the streets, speak up, be a pain in the ass – or just shut up and accept that you’re obedient little subjects who actively support this system by staying silent.

Because at the end of the day, folks: It’s not the politicians screwing you over. You’re letting them do it.
