Monday Demo Zeitz: United in Protest for a Secure Future and Against Threats to Livelihoods!Together Against Threats to Livelihoods: The Monday Demo in Zeitz unites farmers, truckers, and citizens in protest against the irresponsible policies of the "Traffic Light People." Peaceful but determined resistance is growing stronger across Germany. On May 1st, expect speeches and a vehicle procession at the Altmarkt – until then, every Monday at 6 PM we stand tall together in protest for a secure future! #MondayDemoZeitz #PeacefulResistance #TogetherForOurFuture On Monday, March 4th at 6 PM, our protest rally began at the Altmarkt between the former Gestapo torture cellar and the town hall of our city, together with farmers, truckers, small business owners, and all other people in Zeitz who worry about the future of their families. Over 60 tractors, trucks, vans, motorcycles, and cars, as well as more than 120 people who came on foot, gathered in the square. In addition to the well-known speakers Bernd and Arnd, who have spoken at many demos in neighboring cities, Grit also spoke to us from the bottom of her heart. The threat to the livelihoods of farmers, truckers, craftsmen, small entrepreneurs, and ordinary citizens caused by the irresponsible actions of the "Traffic Light People" is far from over, and they give us—the people and their employers—not the slightest signal that they intend to change this! This means that we, the people, must make it clear to these ladies and gentlemen who the sovereign is: THAT IS US — THE PEOPLE! Starting in March, protests across Germany will be massively intensified in both scale and public impact. Especially in the tri-border area between Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, and Saxony, protests have been coordinated and aligned for weeks. We remain peaceful, but united and consistent in carrying out our shared protest! We will not allow anyone to insult us—not even by calling us Nazis—or to provoke or abuse us... Even in the face of violence from masked individuals who travel far just to come to Zeitz, we remain peaceful! Peaceful protest is our strength! However, a secure future for our families is only possible if the aggressive war policies of the "Traffic Light People," which they apparently pursue as "vassals" of the US occupiers and the arms industry, are immediately ended. We will continue to take to the streets together every Monday in protest against this German war policy! On May 1st, starting at 11 AM, a large rally will take place at the Altmarkt of our city for the International Workers’ Day. Speakers from East and West will address the crowd, and various media will be present. This will be followed by a large vehicle procession through the entire city. But until then, we will all remain standing tall and steadfast every Monday evening from 6 PM, protesting through our city together!
