Polish Incitement at Demo: Are People in Germany Stupid?On May 15, 2025, a few of those fearless fellow citizens gathered once again – the ones still not aligned with government policy. Once again, they were demanding peace – and demonstrating for it. 
But the video evidence reveals something truly disturbing – namely, how people abroad perceive us Germans: the smart ones, the inventors, the cultural pioneers. Grit Wagner brought this back from her vacation in Poland, where a Polish woman asked her: “Are people in Germany stupid?” Okay, some might say that’s obviously a rhetorical question – because the answer seems to be confirmed everywhere you look.
