Filming for ARD TV Series in Naumburg and Surroundings Leads to Temporary Traffic Restrictions and Closures on June 3 and 4, 2024Currently, filming is underway for the new TV series “Two Women for All Cases” commissioned by ARD Degeto Film and MDR in the Naumburg area, Freyburg, and Leipzig. The film crew will be shooting in the Naumburg city center on June 3 and 4, 2024, at various locations. The series is scheduled to air in the “Finally Friday on Das Erste” time slot at 8:15 p.m. The scripts for the first two episodes, titled “New Beginning” and “Fathers and Daughters,” were written by Anja Flade-Kruse, and Stefan Bühling is directing. The lead roles feature Bettina Zimmermann as veterinarian Maja Freydank and Meriel Hinsching as her colleague Julia Kramer. Also starring are Kai Schumann, Wolfgang Stumph, Karl Kranzkowski, Ramona Kunze-Libnow, Max von Pufendorf, and Matti Schmidt-Schaller. Due to the large-scale production involving about 60 people, there will be temporary traffic disruptions, closures, and no-parking zones on Monday (June 3, 2024) and Tuesday (June 4, 2024). In some cases, bus routes may be temporarily diverted at short notice. On Monday, June 3, 2024, filming will take place on Steinweg between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. In the area of Johann-Gutenberg-Straße and Topfmarkt, there will be short interval closures between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, Wenzelsstraße (corner of Wenzelsgasse) will be fully closed between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Subsequently, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., interval closures will be implemented in Wenzelsgasse and Wenzelsstraße. Filming will also take place at the market on Tuesday, causing short interval closures on Marienstraße (corner of the “Sternenbäck” bakery) between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. The interval closures will last no longer than five minutes, and traffic control personnel will be on site to manage traffic. From June 3 to June 5 in the mornings, Holzmarkt will serve as a staging area for logistics. Over the weekend, production company vehicles are also expected to be parked at Vogelwiese and on Monday at the Dom parking lot. All residents and business owners will be informed accordingly.
