Renewed Protest in Lützen – Demo at the City Council Meeting, 30.04.2024, 6 PM, Lützen Market Against the Construction of a SupermarketIn Lützen, the citizens' initiative "No Supermarket in the Small Park" has been founded and invites to a demonstration, asking for support. I find this sacrilegious and a disgrace for our small town.

To prevent this and to save the small park on Schlossstraße (plus the municipal kindergarten grounds), we founded the citizens' initiative "No Supermarket in the Small Park" last Thursday. Some city councilors are now advocating for a citizen referendum, which would be a democratic means to truly capture the will of the majority of citizens.
