Demonstration in Zeitz – and Putin "Threatened" Economic Cooperation!What to do when the enemy wants peace? Just ignore him. That’s exactly what happened with the interview excerpts of Vladimir Putin, in which he – surprise, surprise – offers economic cooperation with the West. Not threats, not war rhetoric, but cooperation. All of this can be seen in the video: But heaven forbid this should receive broader attention in the German media landscape. Because what would happen to the beloved narrative of the eternal aggressor Putin, the irrational warlord from Moscow? If he suddenly appears as someone emphasizing mutual economic interests, the ideological house of cards would quickly collapse. Fortunately – from the perspective of the opinion-makers – this invitation to cooperate has been largely ignored. No outcry, no astonishment, no journalistic curiosity. After all, there’s still a war to fight – in the media, politically, economically. Any form of dialogue or détente would only get in the way. Thus, the confrontation could continue undisturbed by the noise of diplomatic reason. And the public? It was left in the familiar framework: good versus evil, West versus East, freedom versus despotism. Economic cooperation? Peace through trade? A relic of past common sense. Citizens of Zeitz Still Demand Peace and JusticeThey still exist – the group of people from Zeitz and the surrounding area who remain undeterred, who take to the streets to demonstrate for peace and justice. Local politicians will likely shine through absence once again, focusing instead on continuing to manage the shortages caused by federal politics. Sending signals to Berlin or Magdeburg in hopes of improving life for citizens and the city? Don’t hold your breath – not until kingdom come. That would require courage, and that… well.People with courage will be found in Zeitz on June 2, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
