CSD Burgenlandkreis unconstitutional? – Is the Office for the Protection of the Constitution already investigating?The CSD BLK (Christopher Street Day Burgenlandkreis) has announced its theme for this year’s event on August 16, 2025: “Queer Thinking Instead of Lateral Thinking!” With this, the organizers oppose the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany.  On Facebook, the Queer Thinkers write: This year’s CSD BLK in Naumburg is under the motto: “Queer Thinking Instead of Lateral Thinking!” With our CSD motto, we’re sending a clear message: “Queer Thinking” stands for openness, diversity, solidarity, and the courageous questioning of social norms – exactly what the queer community has been fighting for decades. “Lateral Thinking,” on the other hand, has long become a buzzword for a movement spreading conspiracy myths, hostility to science, and intolerance – especially in our region. We stand for tolerance, diversity, and visibility and take a stand against conspiracy myths, right-wing ideologies, and hate. Come by and make a statement! #csdmotto #csdblk #queerdenken #queerdenkenstattquerdenken Sounds paradoxical?  We live in this “new normal” – and a lot of it is paradoxical.Anyone taking a look at the Querdenken 711 website will find their manifesto. The idea and ideals of Querdenken are: We talk to anyone who acts peacefully and non-violently – no matter how they are labeled by others. We open a free and democratic debate space. We stand for peace, freedom, democracy, and the rule of law. That is the space we move in. QUERDENKEN stands for self-responsibility, self-determination, love, freedom, peace, and truth. The Queer Thinkers of Burgenlandkreis thus reject this, see themselves as the exact opposite of what the Lateral Thinkers stand for – and thus declare themselves enemies of the constitution? Someone has clearly been whispering in your ears, or you don’t understand the terms you're using. You fought so long not to be excluded. You claim to stand for tolerance and diversity – yet with your slogan and your event, you're excluding exactly those who live tolerance and diversity. Especially Michael Ballweg, co-founder of the Querdenken movement, is the opposite of what you claim. He was unjustly held in pre-trial detention for over nine months because the state wanted to sideline him. A trial is ongoing where he's being accused of "thought crimes." After more than 30 days of hearings, the court already proposed dismissing the case due to lack of evidence. The prosecution even filed bias motions against the judges – something rarely seen in German legal history. Maybe you should look into this case more closely. You are being used! You let yourselves be used!Maybe it’s the state support for your queer movement that blinds you to the bigger picture. But you are being used. Politicians flaunt you to appear tolerant and diverse. But what this tolerance and diversity really looks like was made very clear during the pandemic years. Perhaps you didn’t see it because propaganda, panic, and fear worked perfectly. I had already gathered enough experience before the “pandemic” regarding self-determination for people with disabilities. The state, politics, offices, and authorities do not want self-determination – neither for the disabled nor anyone else. You can choose “diverse” as a gender, you don’t have to be addressed as male or female, you can change your gender once a year and have it reflected on your ID. But this is all symbolic politics. This “self-determination” costs the government nothing. On the contrary: you pay fees for every ID change. Lateral Thinkers are not right-wing and do not hateThe best proof is Michael Ballweg. Watch his statements – how calmly and confidently he stands up to state repression. You position yourselves “against conspiracy myths, right-wing ideologies, and hate”? What conspiracy myths? What right-wing ideology? What hate? Have you been shown evidence, or do you simply believe what comes from the propaganda offices without question? In his statement from May 15, 2025, Ballweg criticizes that the state banned the “Kingdom of Germany,” calling it legally questionable – because alternative lifestyles are being criminalized. If you Queer Thinkers stand for alternative lifestyles, you should watch that closely. If the state no longer needs you as a fig leaf and new enemies are needed, it’s not unthinkable that your lifestyles will be criminalized again. You apparently don’t see it that way now. You receive funding and support – and will avoid biting the hand that feeds you. Human Family – We talk to everyoneOne of the core values of Querdenken is that all people belong to the human family – even the biggest criminals. And they talk to everyone. But you Queer Thinkers, you diverse and tolerant ones, are apparently afraid of that. Why? Approaching others with openness and tolerance means you can talk to anyone. Talking doesn’t mean converting, preaching, or indoctrinating. But too often, that seems to be the goal of the “tolerant and diverse.” And when they fail, they switch to exclusion, isolation, and defamation. Approaching a conversation openly to understand why someone thinks differently doesn’t mean you have to adopt their views. It’s about understanding. You may still disagree in the end. If you’re truly tolerant and value diversity, that shouldn’t be a problem. Even if you view others’ opinions as “conspiracy myths” or “anti-science” – so what? Does it affect you if someone chooses homeopathy over pharmaceuticals? Does it affect you if someone refuses COVID or other vaccines? Does it affect you if someone seeks more independence from the state and values self-responsibility? If you see or handle things differently – it still doesn't affect you. When the enemy is known, the day has structureYou don’t need to join the choir of exclusion, discrimination, and defamation. You know what it’s like to be discriminated against. So why discriminate against others? You could truly live what Querdenkers live: diversity, tolerance, mindfulness, the Basic Law, democracy – and recognize every human as part of the human family. By excluding others and demonstrating against them, you contradict your own motto. Reflection on “Queer Thinking Instead of Lateral Thinking!”Maybe rethink your slogan and visit the Querdenker demo on August 3, 2025, in Berlin. Go with the openness you preach – and look at the diversity there. Maybe you’ll stand in solidarity with those who courageously questioned social norms and accepted state repression for it. If you reject this, you clearly haven’t understood Querdenken – and aren’t ready to live what you claim to stand for. Then you are – sorry to say – symbolic figures without substance, exploited by those in power. If you, as a queer person, now turn Lateral Thinkers into your enemy, you’re targeting those who would be the first to offer a helping hand. How paradoxical is that?
