Demand New Federal Elections – The Sovereign Can Act

Political promises have been broken, the will of the voters is being ignored. The sovereign can speak up and reclaim political responsibility.

Shortly after the last federal election, the mask fell: promises made during the campaign were quickly revoked. Politicians like Friedrich Merz and the CDU are making it abundantly clear that the will of the voters no longer matters once the election is over. Promises are worthless once the votes are counted.

But this does not have to be accepted.

In a democracy, the people are the sovereign. Politicians are employees of the people – they are paid with tax money. Their task is to ensure that people have the best possible living and working conditions. Anyone who acts against the will of the people has broken their employment contract. And just like any employer who is dissatisfied with their employees, there is a clear course of action: dismissal.

It is possible to resist this not-yet-government. The first step is recognizing that you are part of the sovereign – the next is to empower yourself.

A letter to the Bundestag demanding new elections can be downloaded here (An_Bundestag_Bundeswahl_wird_nicht_anerkannt.doc).

Even if critics claim this won’t have any effect, it is still a sign of resistance – a sign that the people are not willing to be patronized by a detached political class.

Every citizen has the right to rise up against political leadership that does not have the well-being of the population in mind. Those who continue to feel the consequences of this policy – whether through rising living costs, additional taxes, or planned billions for rearmament – should be aware of the possibility of increasing pressure. The war drums are beating louder and louder. Politicians certainly won’t go to the front lines themselves. But they will call on others to be patriots, to defend the fatherland – and to die for it. In truth, in war, the people die for the politics.

Constant dripping wears away the stone – many drops wear it away faster. This letter is a clear expression of dissent against a policy that deliberately and unnecessarily makes citizens’ lives more difficult, while decision-makers themselves do not have to change their own lifestyles.

Democracy means: rule by the people – not rule by so-called representatives of the people. Article 20 of the Basic Law states: All state authority emanates from the people.

Those who do not resist lose their voice. But those who empower themselves and take action – for example, in this way – show the politicians that they understand themselves as informed citizens and sovereign individuals.
