State of Emergency in Zeitz – 40 Babies Abandoned – City Forced to Distribute Infants to Naumburg, Weißenfels, and TeuchernThis had never happened before in Zeitz. 40 babies and 3 goats were placed on the steps of the cathedral at night! Within just a few months, dozens of babies were abandoned in Zeitz — 40 in total, along with 3 goats. All were found on the steps of the Zeitz Cathedral. The mothers remain unknown.
