Wolf feeding in HohenmölsenIt's hard to believe, but unnoticed by the watchful eyes of Hohenmölsen's authorities, there exists an unofficial outdoor barbecue spot in Hohenmölsen-Nord, right by the road to AGCO. But they didn’t seem to have been all that hungry, because in one of the packages, there were two wonderfully fresh sausages left. Not for me, of course. But for the wolf. Well, the domestic wolf. It followed its nose, caught the irresistible scent of raw sausages, and didn’t need much encouragement. With impressive skill, it snatched the prize and devoured it right at the scene. Now, some dog owners might cry out, "You shouldn't let your four-legged friend eat everything these thoughtless humans leave in nature!" Yes, true. Caution should be exercised. But domestic wolves typically don’t take such a hard line. And in this case, it even had its advantages: the two sausages replaced the wolf's dinner, and a can of dog food was saved – quite an economical advantage. The downside?
