Mission: Peace Keeper – They don’t give up!

Even in the new year, for some people, peace, but also freedom and justice, remain on the agenda. Demonstrations continue. Two dates are being promoted.

First, January 6, 2025, in Zeitz. The Monday demonstrations go on. The reason remains the danger of war.

After the demo on Monday, January 6th, 6 PM in Zeitz at the Altmarkt, our traditional Monday walk will once again take us on foot through our hometown!
Please come in large numbers and show the still sleeping majority of people in our city your face and show them again that there are still people who are not indifferent to the increasing destruction of our homeland, the livelihoods of ordinary people, the future, and above all the danger that Germany might again be drawn into a war against Russia.
Join us, bring flags and banners for peace and for our country.
This is about us, our families, our homeland, and our shared future in peace!!!

The second date is January 15, 2025, 5 PM in Weißenfels. Considering the statements of the possible next Chancellor regarding Taurus deliveries to Ukraine, an ultimatum to Russia, and that “there is peace in every cemetery,” it is reminded that we have had peace since May 8, 1945. But with “Merz,” that might be over.

Regional politicians for peace?

It is to be expected that very few regional politicians will show up at these demonstrations. We will have to overlook this, especially from those in the established parties. As we saw last year, they only demonstrate when ordered from above — even if the reasoning was based on massive misinformation. Those organized in parties like CDU, SPD, etc., will not be able to openly oppose directives of their leaders, even if it would be important. They must not anger the top by acting independently. Right?

In the upcoming federal elections, citizens can send a message with their vote — for peace or business as usual.
