Good New Year's Resolutions: Becoming Ready and War-Capable!We basically made it! 2024 is history! But what will 2025 be like? Peaceful, most would probably say. But what does politics want? And what about the indoctrinated fear? ![]() Well, the much-loved, but now not chancellor candidate with a Russian first name, Boris Pistorius, had famously declared that the Russian, Putin, would attack in the not too distant future – probably around 2029. How does he know? No idea! He just knows. And that’s why Pistorius declared: “The German army must be operational in four years.” Oh, sorry. He didn’t say exactly that. That wording comes from a memorandum, the so-called Four-Year Plan by Adolf Hitler. But at the EU level it was said: “The German economy must be war-capable in four years.” Oops, sorry again. This quote also comes from Hitler’s Four-Year Plan. Nevertheless, the EU Commission wants to switch to a war economy. Boris Pistorius said: We must be war-ready by 2029. Phew, close call. A completely different wording than Hitler’s back then, right? And Pistorius said this already in 2024. That means until 2029, when the Russian, Putin, will supposedly attack, there are still five years. So, totally different, right? Okay, from 1936 to 1939 were not actually four years, but hey, we live in a time when many big projects take much longer than planned. So we can calmly assume it won’t happen by 2029, right? Besides, Boris Pistorius is a Social Democrat, not a National Social... um... No, let’s not make word comparisons now. Forget I said anything! And anyway, as a counterbalance to the SPD, we have the CDU! Yes, okay, Friedrich Merz, the chancellor candidate of finance capital, wants to deliver Taurus missiles to Ukraine. And yes, they have to be programmed by Bundeswehr soldiers, which the Russian, Putin, would interpret as Germany becoming a war party and thus a target of attack. And yes, Merz said he isn’t afraid of a nuclear war. If he isn’t afraid, then surely we don’t have to be afraid either, right? What luck that the CDU certainly can’t govern alone. A coalition with the peace party The Greens is being considered. Yes, okay, Anton Hofreiter also demands the delivery of Taurus missiles to Ukraine. But all this is for peace and climate protection. Really! Because let’s be honest: If there are reasons to deploy heavy weapons, tanks, fighter jets, then it can only be good for the climate and the environment, right? So nothing can happen to us. It remains peaceful — until 2029 or so. But then the Russian, Putin, attacks. Or we attack him preemptively because he will have done something we simply cannot accept. Maybe Russian soldiers will have thrown newborns out of incubators. Or, wait, no: the Russian has weapons of mass destruction. That alone was once reason enough for invading a country. And unlike Iraq, we know exactly that the Russian, Putin, has weapons of mass destruction which he can and probably will use against us if we keep escalating and provoking. So we don’t have to laboriously search for weapons of mass destruction in Russia. How convenient, right? Sometimes it can be that simple! Or we just find some other reason. You just have to be creative, right? It is well known that it is important to keep the mob... um... the people... um... the population in a vague fear. That way the government can push through anything. But what fear is left nowadays? Fear of a cold virus no longer works. Fear of global warming is only somewhat effective in winter — especially not if heating and energy costs are driven up by additional taxes and fees. Terrorism might be something, but it’s annoying when this terror comes from “newly arrived specialists.” The Middle East, Syria... Nah! That’s far away, and it’s also annoying that Assad was overthrown by those who until recently were labeled terrorists. How should one explain that meaningfully to the mob... um... the population? That’s why we can’t avoid entering the new year with the good resolution to focus on fear of the Russian, Putin, and to do what was done back in 1936... Okay, yes, better not compare that! We live in a democracy where everyone can say their opinion — unless they insult the government. But nobody gets taken away. Unless you organize protests against the government. Demonstrations are still possible, as long as you don’t protest against infection control... um... population protection and the government. Everything here is democratic unless you belong to an opposition party. But we all talk openly — unless you are in the opposition. We can participate in “our democracy” as the mob... um... citizens. Well, not really. But we have a democracy that has to be defended in Ukraine. Yes, opposition is banned there, independent media too. But that’s democracy we must defend. That’s the new normal. Democracy can only be protected through anti-democratic measures and bans. Freedom can only be preserved by restricting it. That’s absolutely logical, isn’t it? So let’s look to the coming federal election with good New Year’s resolutions and mark our crosses for parties that defend our democratic values, freedom, and peace. So for the S... um... the C... um... the Gr... um... the F... Males! Let’s vote for the parties that always strive to overcome the deep division in society — if you accept the necessary, the right vaccine sta... Grrrr... Let’s vote for the parties that have successfully led us through every crisis for decades... What, wrong wording now? Oh, you mean “through every crisis”? Okay! Let’s vote again for those parties that have successfully guided us through every crisis. Mark your crosses again exactly with those lead... Also wrong wording? Better not write “leader”? But right before the European election, the CDU/CSU reaffirmed their leadership claim. Also the charming Saskia Esken from the SPD made the same leadership claim... And the Greens formulated their leadership claim too. Okay, then let’s resolve to free ourselves from the fear imposed by politics. That’s still possible, right? I’m doing it! That’s why I keep filing objections against decisions by offices, authorities, institutions that I consider unlawful and arbitrary, and I don’t shy away from going to court. Nothing ventured, nothing gained! Peaceful but fearless! And you can do it too! It’s like riding a bike. The more often you do it, the easier and more relaxed it gets. PS: The above text contains a lot of polemics, irony, sarcasm, and cynicism. I point this out because it’s sometimes misunderstood. But the fearless part is serious.
