The Free Rural School in Burgenland District Becomes Reality - Family Afternoon to Get Acquainted on May 22, 2024Many are dissatisfied with the school system. In the Burgenland district, too, there are initiatives to establish free schools. The founders of the Free Rural School Burgenland District invite families—big, small, young, and old—to a family afternoon on May 22, 2024, starting at 3 p.m. Together with the visitors, a small buffet will be created—everyone brings what they like... Culinary contributions are welcome.
Spending a cozy afternoon, getting to know each other, and engaging in mutual exchange is the priority for the members of the founding initiative. The Free Rural School Burgenland District is becoming a reality, and there are surely many questions to be answered. Anyone (even without children) who wants to contribute to a free learning environment, is convinced that alternatives to the current school system are needed, or is simply interested in such a future-oriented project is warmly welcome to join. The goal of the Free Rural School is to pave the way for children, accompany them, and help them develop into socially responsible, creative, and confidently active co-creators of society who know their abilities and strengths and align them so that their lives are interesting, fulfilling, and joyful, mastering life’s challenges with self-efficacy and solution-oriented approaches, and maintaining respectful interactions with nature, animals, and their fellow human beings. The meeting point is Hirtengraben 1, 06618 Wethau Those with questions in advance can send them via email to info@entfaltungsgarten.de and find further information at https://www.entfaltungsgarten.de.
