The world was all right for us. It took a while for the two-wheelers to leave the market. There were even more vehicles outside the market. But apparently, there was no room for them on the market. I took a few more photos here and there and then wanted to enjoy the rest of Sunday. Or so I thought … Encounter with the Counter-Protesters On the other side of the market, next to the church, there were counter-protesters. Entirely legitimate and permissible. If it had not been for a sign that more or less insulted other people simply because they vote for the AfD. That certainly made me curious. And so, after observing a conversation with an older woman for a while, I also got into a conversation with three counter-protesters. I am not very good at estimating their age; I would guess they were between 16 and 18. What interested me most was why they were standing here and what they wanted to achieve by doing so. In fact, the three were willing to talk to me. They expressed the demand for recognition of a free life and acceptance of love, regardless of gender. As a symbol, they were carrying the rainbow flag. 
Okay, but acceptance has long existed in society. And shouldn’t acceptance apply to everyone, without anyone having to push themselves into the foreground? Different Ideas – Common Concerns? I asked about their wishes and goals for the future, both economically and socially. Goals such as social justice, a fairer distribution of money, and the differences between rich and poor were also cited as reasons for change. All understandable reasons. Yet precisely such arguments were also being made on the so-called other side of the supporters (AfD). Shouldn’t we start talking to each other? During our conversation, we were interrupted several times. I am not sure whether this was intentional, in order to end the conversation. That was how it seemed to me personally. But ultimately, three young people and I did not allow ourselves to be deterred from talking to one another, despite a “watchdog” on the other side. Respect, because there are people who are capable of communicating with one another without insulting each other. We said goodbye with a friendly handshake, and I gave them some well-intentioned advice: If they want to make the world a little better, they should do so as human beings, remain humane, and respect their fellow human beings in the way they themselves would like to be respected, and not allow themselves to be exploited by anyone.I hope they understood it and will think about it.
