Demonstration Week in the Burgenlandkreis: Some want peace in principle, others just don’t want to join the Bundeswehr!The past weekend once again showed how quickly the world is set ablaze by the decisions of leaders adored by some – without any regard for the people.

These activists for peace, freedom, and justice do this every week in wind and weather from 6 p.m. onward. They do not do this because someone calls on them to do so; they do it because peace, freedom, and justice matter to them. If the youth get on their Simson mopeds (or e-bikes – for the climate), they can take part. They can engage in conversation, try to understand the views of the other peace activists, of course without having to agree on every single point. That is called diversity and tolerance.
