Flowers for Arndt Eiert - Monday Demonstration, November 3, 2025, Zeitz

On November 3, 2025, brave citizens once again gathered in Zeitz to protest against current politics and the looming threat of war.

On November 3, 2025, peace activists – as now every first Monday of the month – met for the Monday demonstration in Zeitz.

Since 2020, now in its sixth year, citizens of our hometown have taken to the streets to protest against the injustice of the German state and for peace, freedom, and justice – especially for the ordinary people of this country.

At times, up to 4,000 people protested against the Corona injustice and the closure of Zeitz Hospital on the streets of our hometown. The closure of Zeitz Hospital was prevented.

A planned Corona vaccination mandate for all citizens in our country was stopped through a nationwide protest with participation from all federal states. We were part of it.

Taking action to halt the destruction of our country and the endangerment of our families' livelihoods became, from 2024 onwards – together with the farmers – the main theme of the protests. Maintaining peace, or especially over the past year, preventing the current warmongering by those in Berlin, became the absolute priority.

It is regrettable to note that attendance at our Monday protests has declined sharply.

The indifference of the masses is worse than the warmongering hysteria of the powerful because it makes their anti-people policies possible in the first place.

Peace Protest in Zeitz: The Call for Freedom and Justice

On November 3, 2025, brave citizens once again gathered in Zeitz to protest against current politics and the looming threat of war. The event began with a relatively small group but grew throughout the evening as more participants joined.

The Urgency of Peace: "No War Against Russia!"

Speakers made it clear that the protests were not only against injustices in Germany but also against geopolitical tensions pushing us closer to war. Special emphasis was placed on the responsibility of the government, which, through sanctions and support of NATO against Russia, is increasingly maneuvering itself into a dangerous corner.

It was pointed out that Russia has repeatedly stated it has no intention of attacking other countries. Nevertheless, the situation is being fueled from the Western side – not least by the threat of a possible Third World War, which some are allegedly preparing as a "war economy." The destruction of livelihoods due to the transition to a war economy and the war rhetoric in the media was also heavily criticized.

Political Injustices: "We Are Not Sovereign!"

A central topic of the speeches was Germany's lack of sovereignty. The U.S. will soon deploy the most advanced long-range bombers and nuclear weapons in Germany, seen as a clear sign of ongoing occupation policies. The call for an independent Germany, exiting NATO and the EU and establishing its own constitution, was voiced loudly. Demonstrators demanded that the government take responsibility for its own people and not lead the country into another war.

Debt, Unemployment, and the "War from Above"

The protests also reflect growing economic fears. In recent months, more companies have gone bankrupt, and unemployment has risen. The shift to a war economy is seen as a way to boost the economy but at the expense of ordinary citizens, who are increasingly burdened by cuts in social benefits and rising living costs.

The speech of a former military officer, who described the situation as "dangerous," made it clear that global political tensions are only part of the problem. The real threat comes from domestic politics and the geopolitical decisions of the "warmongers" in the EU and NATO.

The Danger of "Special Measures" and Martial Law

Particularly alarming was the warning about a potential "special measures" regulation that could declare a state of emergency and martial law in Germany, which would involve massive restrictions on fundamental rights and a strengthening of the war economy. Such measures could further erode democracy and make protests like this impossible.

Peace Appeal: "Make Peace Without Weapons!"

Despite the bleak outlook, the message to all participants remained clear: "Make peace without weapons." The central concern of the demonstrators is to find a peaceful path that allows not only Germany but all peoples of the world to live a better, fairer life. This was emphasized in an emotional closing song, "Make Peace Without Weapons," sung together by all attendees.

Looking to the Future: Hope for Change

Finally, the speakers called for worldwide cooperation and an end to Western dominance. They looked to the rising strength of countries in Asia, Africa, and South America, which seek to free themselves from "Western supremacy" and pursue a new path of collaboration based on mutual respect.

The protest was not only a statement against current politics but also a call for global solidarity and the urgent need to preserve peace.
