DIVIDE and RULE! Manfred is fully on board! Manfred didn’t get it!I take much of what’s going on out there in this world of ours with humor, polemics, even cynicism. If you took everything seriously, you'd probably go mad. But there are contemporaries who take everything seriously – especially what government critics say. 
One of these ultra-serious types is Manfred Schmidt Schulze. Yes, without a hyphen. I don’t know what his parents were thinking when they gave their child “Schmidt” as a middle name. Maybe they thought it was funny. Or maybe Manfred didn’t think much of it when he created his fake profile. In any case, he certainly won’t be getting a custom license plate with the initials of his last name. Manfred pays attention. Very closely. But not to what politicians say or do. No! He watches what government critics say in public. And so Manni made it his mission to analyze the statements of those who spoke at the peace rally in Weißenfels on July 23, 2025 – and, very importantly for Manni – to check them for truthfulness. Because truth is very important to Manni. His “analysis,” probably supported by some AI tool, follows further below. Mannilein doesn’t say a word about the fact that the fundamental goal of the peace rally – namely peace – is in itself a good and important thing. Mannilein clearly has other priorities. Nor does it occur to Mannilein that the speakers, who speak freely and don’t read from a text pre-approved by press officers and advisors, might have made a mistake in one detail or another, or might be drawing their information from different sources than those hastily checked by Mannilein and his AI. He could have said that there are other perspectives on the statements and maybe suggested a conversation. But Mannilein doesn’t do that. For him, the speakers at the rally are just lying. I asked little Manfred to go through the statements of his beloved leaders with the same meticulousness. Because we’re all eager to see his findings there as well. But somehow, Manfredchen didn’t feel like it. He wrote: “I go through the lies at these rallies because I’ve been noticing them for a long time. People shouldn't be lied to. If you do that, you're no better than some politicians.” Ah, so little Mannilein has realized that some politicians lie. But apparently, Mannileinchen believes that the citizen must be holier than the pope. DIVIDE and RULE – Just like the ancient RomansWell, dear children, what can we learn from this? Exactly: divide and rule not only worked back in Roman times, it still works wonderfully today. Manfredolino is a prime example. He’s not bothered that there’s war in Ukraine and Gaza. He’s not bothered that politicians want these wars. He’s not bothered that countless people – women, children, civilians – are dying in these wars, or that soldiers are killing each other because politics demands it. What bothers Manfredolino are the statements of those who protest against these wars, who march for peace, because we are all human. Manfredolino thus turns himself into a helper or even a servant of the warmongers. And he does it voluntarily.Divide and Rule, or Divide et Impera, is a strategy that recommends splitting groups into subgroups to make them turn on each other instead of uniting against a common enemy. What little Manfredoleinchen doesn’t realize is that what peace demonstrators say at rallies is unlikely to negatively affect him. But what politicians like Liar-Chancellor Friedrich Merz say, do, and decide most certainly will – and significantly. Higher taxes, fees, restrictions in many areas of everyday life affect Manfredoleinchen just as much. But he refuses to see that. For reasons unknown, he has let himself be thoroughly co-opted to act against those who actually protest in his own interest. This is also referred to as systemic self-subjugation or “internalized domination” according to Gramsci and Foucault. People voluntarily adopt the mindset and interests of the ruling class because they accept their power as “natural” or “without alternative.” This is often paired with a dependency syndrome or submissive psychological structure, in which a person surrenders their autonomy entirely to the will of another.
