SA Thugs in Teuchern? Were the City Council Members Threatened?

From my perspective, the city council meeting in Teuchern on March 6, 2025, with the vote on IKIG (Intermunicipal Industrial Zone), was an event "with its face to the people." But there is also another opinion.

It could certainly be criticized that the city council meeting was not postponed, as the turnout of citizens was so large that not everyone could fit into the council hall. However, it is worth noting positively that neither the mayor of Teuchern, Marcel Schneider, nor the city council members had any objections to this proximity to the people.

The discussions were certainly consistent and intense on the matter. Positions could be explained in detail. No insults were thrown around.

Christian Pagel, however, sees it differently. He feels regularly obligated to defend the ruling politics and believes he speaks on behalf of politics and the "majority." He publicly wrote to me word-for-word on Facebook:

"Michael, you are really stupid and don't even realize it anymore. When a mob of angry citizens is standing 10 cm behind you, you will reconsider three times as an honorary city council member whether you make a decision that could mean a punch in the back at any moment. What happened there was absolutely undemocratic and has more in common with SA thugs than with a free democratic decision.

It was not an event with the 'face to the people' but solely with the face to the aggressive mob / the small group of opponents. That, of course, the most well-known and stupid conspiracy theorists from the region, including you as a conspiracy theorist reporter, were present, actually proves how undemocratic the whole thing was.

If you really wanted more involvement from the people, you would have sharply criticized this event. A protest and demonstration beforehand is fine, but being present for the vote is not. Because where is the part of the people who a) have no problem with it and b) are in favor of it?

Where did the sovereign (the people) have the opportunity for interaction in its entirety?

But it becomes clear time and again, you hate democracy when it's not in your favor..."

Everyone can make their own thoughts about it and judge for themselves (see the video recording of the city council meeting above) whether the comparisons Christian Pagel makes are accurate. How he came to his conclusions, I cannot understand. He doesn't seem to have much trust in the people.

What Christian Pagel has clearly not taken into account in his view is the fact that there was an open microphone at the demonstration before the city council meeting. Supporters of IKIG could also have spoken. They could have organized their own demonstrations or information events. They could also have spoken up during the city council meeting.

As far as I know, there were no demonstrations or information events organized by supporters. There were only information events organized by the politicians with the clear aim of convincing citizens of IKIG. One can certainly conclude from this that there are no actual supporters of IKIG among the population.

It should also be considered that a mayor and city council members are elected representatives of the people. The task of the people's representatives is to act and decide in the interests of the population – not just to impose orders from above. When large parts of the population form against a project like IKIG and petition collections with several thousand signatures are submitted, then this must be reflected in the vote in the city council. Anything else, in my opinion, would be undemocratic.

Christian Pagel added the following:
"Of course, the conspiracy theorist blogger has to write another article about me and my reaction – because he really has nothing else to report, can't do anything, and his personal blog lives exclusively from his experiences on Facebook.
The headline being a lie, typical of an enemy of democracy and the rule of law, an unscrupulous writer and destroyed existence, once again highlights what a gutter media outlet this is. My comparison in this direction was more of a tendency, which can be unmistakably seen in the text:
'What happened there was absolutely undemocratic and has more in common with SA thugs than with a free democratic decision.'
It clearly shows that someone places their readers at the farthest edge of society, in the educationally deprived clientele.
What our enemy of democracy once again doesn't understand, is that in such a situation no city councilor would want to reject the 'mob' – I mean, the citizens' proximity. The fact that this 'mob,' or rather the peaceful citizens, had a massive influence on the decision of the voluntary city council members is absolutely indisputable. Not without reason were there numerous abstentions.
Another example of his absolute stupidity is the – analogous to his endless ignorance during the Corona period – demand from the supporters or advocates to organize a protest or demonstration. If you're not against it, you don't have to demonstrate or protest.
Also, the stupid conclusion, which is typical for our cognitively limited conspiracy theorist blogger, that the lack of supporters at the open mic, missing protests or missing demos means the project has no support, is a clear sign of undemocratic behavior in its purest form. Another lie in the end, this mob, with participants from Weißenfels, fat Grit Wagner, Naumburg, our JuWe the beast, and certainly many other conspiracy theorists, has nothing to do with the population in Teuchern and their will. It is not the people who contributed to an undemocratic vote, but a mob."
