Our country is governed by economic criminals, dropouts, children's book authors, and warmongers – open letter to the Chamber of Crafts Halle

Master craftsman Thomas Weise from Zeitz responds to the letter from the Chamber of Crafts Halle titled "Don’t lose courage".

```html President of the Chamber of Crafts Halle
Dear Mr. Keindorf,
We are not losing courage to practice our craft under the current political conditions in our country, as we pursue our work for our citizens with great passion and political commitment.
We, the company Kurt Weise Antenna Service Zeitz, represented by Thomas Weise, master of radio and television technology crafts and owner of our small business, however, cannot understand why our Chamber of Crafts cannot call for protests from our craft community.
The poor economic framework conditions mentioned in your letter and the rightly identified misguided, ideologically driven decisions of our government are reason enough to call for a protest action. Reasons for the poor situation in the country are the misguided energy policy, failed foreign policy, and the asylum policy in practice. An industrial country is being cut off from its energy sources, the money our people earn is being distributed with a watering can to all sorts of countries, and immigration policy is blowing up our social systems. When the money runs out, new money is printed.
We all feel the inflation caused by this in all areas of our lives. Our country lets its energy carriers be blown up and no one reacts.
Our country is governed by economic criminals, dropouts, children’s book authors, and warmongers. We lack smart minds in politics who could resolve this situation for the good of the German people. If a chancellor who embezzled millions, a foreign minister who doesn’t know what she’s talking about, a minister of economics who cannot distinguish between revenue, profit, and turnover, an FDP politician who absolutely wants to start World War III, and everyone only fears the AfD electorate and the enemies of democracy continue like this, I and many of my craft colleagues see a bleak future.
I don’t smoke cannabis and I’m not going to change my sexuality. I don’t want to be the long arm of the USA. I don’t want to have to mourn my grandchildren at war.
I have nothing against refugees from war zones, working foreigners, Muslims, or any other religions.
I have something against social parasites, child rapists, and other criminals who drain our earned money from the social systems, and against the centrally controlled and financed “Antifa movement” and the radical right mob who want to divide our society.
This cannot continue.
The farmers’ protests earlier this year were only the tip of the iceberg, which many craft colleagues clung to in order to also make their protest public. The government sat out the farmers’ protest, the farmers are now in the fields, and organizing further protests is thus difficult. A central call from the Chamber of Crafts, like at the beginning of the year, could centralize the torn protest structure and form a broad front against current politics, for our country, for our people.
I regularly organize myself in Zeitz for such protest actions with farmers, self-employed, craftsmen, and ordinary hardworking citizens. But the actions are too decentralized and are always portrayed in a wrong light by state-affiliated media. I have already been called a Nazi, which I cannot understand at all.
I wish for a central protest call from our Chamber of Crafts for peace, for our country, our economic location, for reasonable and balanced politics, and less bureaucracy.
I am sure of the support of our entire craft community.
A call for anti-war politics, for peace and reason, for affordable energy policy, reasonable asylum policy, for our country cannot violate any law!
With admonishing regards
Thomas Weise
Master craftsman from Zeitz
Don’t lose courage
Dear craft colleagues,
A look at the media unfortunately tells us all too clearly—we live in complicated times. The global political situation, the political actions of the federal government, the shortage of skilled workers—all this influences the current economic situation. Especially companies in the construction and construction-related trades report dark clouds on the horizon. From our point of view, these are ideology-driven decisions by Berlin politics that have led to strong uncertainty among customers and price increases. Therefore, it was not surprising to me that many companies in this sector stood side by side with the farmers in January to draw attention to the current misery. As a Chamber of Crafts, we are unfortunately legally prohibited from calling such protests or leading them. Our means remain political dialogue, which we have of course sought, and going public to draw attention to the concerns of the crafts.
Our message to federal politics: The best economic promotion is to let the craft work and not constantly burden it with new bureaucracy.
A second pillar of our work is the craft self-administration. This includes, not least, managing the register of crafts. All craft businesses are registered here. The legislator has mandated a change here. Companies that are not registered in the scaffolding trade but had the authorization according to the transition law are affected. From now on, everyone must apply for a permit/authorization to continue offering the trade to third parties under §§ 7a, 7b, 8 HwO. If you are affected, please contact the Chamber of Crafts.
Other focus topics of our work include supporting the search for employees and apprentices and assisting entrepreneurs with succession. Especially in vocational recruitment, the craft sector has succeeded in at least maintaining stable numbers in new registrations. For the Chamber, this means attending fairs, organizing action days in schools, and promoting dual education everywhere possible. New to the team is the schoolworker, who addresses young people and makes them aware of professions through practical examples. A successful model is also the student holiday internship. Every third intern subsequently completes training in the craft or even in the internship company.
I would like to point out one more thing: The numbers say it more than clearly—fewer people enter the craft trades than leave them. Therefore, it is important to retain those who are already active in the company. For this, we have created some service anniversary certificates that you can give to your employees.
You can print these certificates yourself in the customer portal of the Chamber of Crafts Halle and then hand them over. To access the portal, you need a password, which you can request here: kundenportal@hwkhalle.de. In this portal, you will soon find many more services.
I am grateful for your ideas and suggestions regarding our work. Please don’t lose courage and write to me at praesident@hwkhalle.de or use the reply form.
Yours sincerely,
Thomas Keindorf
